People occasionally call or write us inquiring whether NGCMA possesses any statistics on golf cars. The answer is "no." Formerly, but not presently, NGCMA, through the auspices of a national, independent public accounting firm, ("CPA"), collected and compiled statistics on the number of golf cars manufactured and sold. This practice was discontinued more than a decade ago. NGCMA does not itself presently maintain nor have access to any statistics relating to the number of golf cars in use, manufactured or sold. While one or more of the manufacturers may independently develop this kind of information for their own individual, independent marketing purposes, it is not a subject matter discussed at NGCMA meetings or with NGCMA staff.
